Before fashion, Simoun was an HR supervisor and laundry shop owner in Pasig City. But his heart always leaned toward design. Mentored by his godmother, Ramily Santillan, a seasoned seamstress from Bacolod, Simoun learned the fundamentals of garment-making. His first breakthrough came when he designed a pageant gown for his sister—an experience that sparked a deeper calling.

From wedding gowns for friends to full-blown collections, Simoun’s evolution has been marked by self-taught grit and a relentless pursuit of excellence. In 2012, he co-founded SaiRam Collections, a brand built on versatility, inclusivity, and dependable styling services.

Simoun’s creations are known for their intricate layering, bold structural cuts, and fearless use of color and texture. He designs with emotion, crafting pieces that reflect personal stories, cultural pride, and a deep respect for craftsmanship. His work often features Filipiniana silhouettes, Barong Tagalog reinterpretations, and couture gowns that blend tradition with avant-garde flair.
