Born into a family of tailors and dressmakers, Leo’s path to fashion was both natural and hard-earned. Though he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Education in Cebu, his early attempts to land a teaching job were met with rejection. That twist of fate led him to answer a newspaper ad for a fashion designer—and the rest, as they say, is history.
He began designing bridal wear for SM Cebu, but within months, his talent took him abroad. From Bahrain to Dubai, Leo honed his skills as a ghost designer for major fashion houses, creating show-stopping pieces that bore someone else’s name. Eventually, he decided to step into the spotlight and build his own brand—a move that would define his legacy.
Leo’s creations are unmistakable: intricate beadwork, luxurious silhouettes, and a signature blend of jewelry design and couture fashion. He believes every woman deserves to feel like a queen, whether it’s for a wedding, debut, or red carpet moment. His gowns are not just garments—they’re experiences, crafted with emotion, precision, and a deep understanding of the female form.
He draws inspiration from nature, mythology, and personal stories. His recent solo fashion show at Okada Manila featured 65 looks across three themed collections—SUN, LASANG (Forest), and SNOW WHITE—each one a visual narrative of light, life, and fantasy.

Beyond his clients, Leo empowers the women behind the seams. His atelier employs over 30 seamstresses, many of whom he’s trained and supported through the years. He sees his work as a continuation of his parents’ legacy—only elevated, refined, and reimagined for the global stage
